A contact color for testing the accurate fit of crowns, inlays, onlays, telescoping crowns, claspsand the friction surface of debris. Arti-Spot can be applied with a brush. The solvent evaporatesin seconds, leaving a thin film 3µ thick. Every contact destroys the color skin exactly at thepoint of contact. The base material then shines clearly through and high spots can easily bedetected. Can also be used to test high spots on highly polished occlusal surfaces such as goldor ceramic. The food dye contained in Arti-Spot is completely safe. Arti-Spot can easily be removedafter use. Hot water, mechanical friction (toothbrush or dental floss), alcohol, isopropyl alcoholand steaming will also loosen residual color deposits. On sealed dental plaster, Arti-Spot canalso be removed with a brush.
